Abstract

The article presents problems of heating of the air sucked into the compressor, which is one of the factors that negatively affect the efficiency of piston compressor equipment widely used in mining and industrial enterprises, and a technical solution to eliminate this problem is proposed. Also, experimental researches of the proposed compressor air cooling device and their results are presented. As a result of experimental studies, it was established that the efficiency and energy efficiency of the compressor depends on the temperature of the air sucked into the compressor.
