METHOD FOR DEVELOPING MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF DRILLING BITS CONTACT WITH ROCKS
Abstract
The work analyzes the methodology for developing mathematical modeling of the contact of the drill bit with the rock, the analysis of the interaction of the rock-cutting tool with the rock during the drilling process using the ANSYS program, operating on the basis of numerical modeling methods. The advantages of using a numerical method for analyzing the stress-strain state of a tricone bit in interaction with rock using the Johnson Cook model have been studied and identified. The stress-strain state of the medium at the yield point of the material is determined in the form of a certain function of strain, strain rate and temperature.
