Abstract

The analysis of the operational indicators of quarry excavators, the analysis of the existing structural structures of the cutting elements of quarry excavators, and the main directions for improving the efficiency of the indicators of the excavation mode of quarry excavators are given. Research of the factors leading to failure of the bucket jaw part of quarry excavators, improvement of the construction of the bucket jaw part, development of a new construction of the bucket part of the excavator bucket, pilot-test studies of the improved construction of the bucket jaw part of the excavator, their results, and the calculation of the economic efficiency of the application of the proposed solutions are presented.
