IMPLEMENTATION OF A RESISTIVE NEUTRAL GROUNDING SCHEME IN 6-10 kV NETWORKS IN OPEN MINES

Abstract

The article discusses global and domestic experience in operating medium-voltage networks. Operating experience has shown that resistive grounding of the neutral can significantly improve the reliability of 6-10 kV electrical networks by eliminating a number of dangerous processes that lead to significant overvoltages or overcurrents in the windings of electromagnetic voltage transformers.
